On 20th May, both cohorts of AMS Students attended the Space Talk. We had 2 guests, Dr Timo, as well as Mr. Jonathan Hung.
Dr. Timo is frm EADS, parent company of Airbus, while Jonathan is President of SSTA (Singapore Space & Technology Association).

The 1st talk was titled "From Sailing to Sailing, Exploration of Our Planet and Beyond", whr Dr. Timo talked abt the future of the Space Industry and how we in Singapore can be part of it.
Next, Jonathan talked about the Singapore space industry, following which, the Prize Presentation Ceremony for

Other than this talk, on the next day, 21st May, AMS also had a talk by Tiger Airways Cabin Crew dept.
On 24th May, some yr1s and yr2s helped out for the STATA talk. STATA is the training arm of ST Aerospace. The talk was organised by STATA for the public, while the TP, the AMS team and its students provided the facilities and the assistance in guiding visitors to the talk. The response was good and filled up 2 LTS totally, with a 3rd LT used to cater to the high demand.
