SADEAF Walkathon & Pertapis Golf Tournament

SADeaf Walkathon

28 March 2009. Students from AMS Year 2 participated in a Walkathon organized by the Singapore Association for the Deaf. The walk spanned 4 km starting from SADeaf's building and ran all the way to the Esplanade with a mission of raising funds to support the SADeaf's essential programmes. Students were stationed at various points along the route to facilitate the event and to direct participants along the right path. Stationed at the Esplanade were students from AMS too, to help guide finishers of the walkathon towards shuttle buses or refreshments.

Pertapis Golf Tournament

9th April 2009. AMS Year 2 students participated in an event organised by Pertapis called the Pertapis "Swing for Hope" Charity Golf. Students were required to man booths, usher or go out to the course to do measurements. The event was organised for people who are interested in paying to play golf, and funds generated went to Pertapis, a voluntary welfare organisation.
