AMS CAMP 5th to 6th march 2008
The AMS camp was held on the 5th to 6th of march and its aim was to bond the AMS students together. well, the camp was a great success and everyone had a good time! we made more friends and got to one another better. interested to know what went on during those 2 days? READ ON! :)

freshies on day 2

FA!
DRY GAMES:
despite all the confusion from station to station and the rain, the games were still fun. games like dodge bomb, hijackers, what's the next move, aerial mines and so on. it was a good activity to bond the participants together!

dodge bomb

musical chairs

fuel up!
PICTO-HUNT:
each group was given a set of 30 pictures taken of different parts of temasek poly and they were supposed to run around school and look for them. the first team to arrive would be given a choice of choosing where to have their dinner.

battle strategy

"it's up there!"

yeeAA!!
SARDINE:
a game played at night where 3 programmers hid themselves in different parts of engineering school. the objective was for participants to look and gather in those areas by themselves. many participants would definitely agree, this was one spook experience! to walk around and search in certain dark corridors. brrr!

NIGHT WALK:
as the name suggests, participants were paired up and followed a route to different stations where they were supposed to solve a crime. at each station, the programmers and facilitators made up and scared the participants. oh man, the make up was so scary that even us programmers scared ourselves just by looking at each other! haha. this one of the best events of the camp. :)

HUNT-GRY:
participants were given a list of items that are to be completed within a given time of 3 hours. participants could be seen running around the school doing all kinds of stuff from the list. a few examples of the tasks were, like to find 3 nike bottles, roll down the ramp of design school and so on!
WET GAMES:
the last activity of the camp! 6 of our new april intake students joined us too. at each station, in groups, there were games to play, and of course, each station managed to get every single participant soaking wet! haha. especially at the final showdown.

water tackle

"ahh!!"

one 4 all, all 4 one!
and it is because of all these activities that we got to know each other better this way. the camp was DEFINITELY a success! thanks again to all who came down and participated, we hope you had as much fun as we did! :)
