CERTIFICATE PROGRAMME - More than just a diploma.

Interested in Temasek Polytechnic's Diploma in Aviation Management and Services yet also wish to try your hand in Psychology? Unable to decide between two different courses offered in Temasek Poly?

We've the perfect solution for you!

In 2008, TP launched it's Certificate Program to provide greater recognition to TP students. This would enable the more capable students to graduate with more than 1 set of qualification during their 3-year stint.

Freshmen who have performed at the top 10% of each diploma course will receive an email at the end of Semester 1.1, inviting them to apply for the Certificate Programme. If you decide to take up the invitation, you would have to indicate your preferences out of the eight clusters offered:

  1. Certificate in Business Fundamentals
  2. Certificate in Cross-Cultural Studies
  3. Certificate in Design Fundamentals
  4. Certificate in Digital Literacies
  5. Certificate in Language & Culture (French & Japanese)
  6. Certificate in Life Sciences Fundamentals
  7. Certificate in Management & Enterprise
  8. Certificate in Psychology Fundamentals
Of the five preferred clusters that you indicate, one will be allocated to you based on the time stamp (first come first served), ranking of choices and availability of cluster places. Please note that in order to be in the program, you have to make a selection during the selection period.

In other words...

You can join our course, Aviation Management and Services, and still pursue your other interests in Psychology/Design/Language. Better yet, you can even attain an additional certificate!

How about those who do not qualify for the Certificate Programme?

Not to worry, students can still apply for the courses that are offered under their Cross-Disciplnary Subjects. These CDS-es are also recognised in your qualifications when you graduate from TP.

For the exact list of subjects offered under both CDS & Certificate Programme, do take a look at the few links here:
